Description

Currently DIYAlarmMonitor consists of two cards. The first is the general operational page used to monitor an Arduino enabled Alarm System.

The Second Card is used to enable and disable features and enter program settings.

A few years back one of our jobs was programming software for a Security Alarm Monitoring Desk. called RAMS. RAMS would receive the signals from an alarm panel, pull up all the accounts information which included local police, fire, etc. And create logs of all actions taken, zones triggers and who armed and disarmed the alarm panel.  The scale of the program was massive compared to this project. We monitored 4 receivers with 12 phone lines each, and at least 6 networked computers for the 'alarm desk' personnel. Fun job.

Our goal here is to help remove the Alarm Desk all together. Most of us have alarm panel that aren't used, they were, but due to economic times we were forced to cancel. Besides their rates are through the roof for what they do. All our opinion of course.

So with DIYAlarmMonitor you can once again regain that feeling of security knowing you can 'watch' your 'site' when you are away.
